About Us

Terry Mordecai has a vision to tackle the Edmonton gang crime that is robbing children of their youth. Having grown up in the area during 80s and 90s, there is a love and passion for the community.

Terry reached out to colleagues and friends to support the vision of providing Free Boxing Sessions in Edmonton. The project quickly took pace, we formed a collaboration with a local community centre helping young people with fitness and confidence.

NYCC Youth Centre in Edmonton Green echo the same values and objectives of Ignite Foundation. This was a great opportunity for the children. The positive impact has given the patrons, sponsors, and trustees involved the drive to grow this project, in 2025 the charity rolled out a programme for primary schools. Providing 2 hours a week to a school – helping Year 6 students struggling with behaviour and focus.
